Primary Attributes of Holistic Guidance

  • Our intentions and actions in any given moment influence the mind, the senses, and habitual patterns. It also goes the other way, senses, mind and habitual patterns influence our intentions and actions. Some thought patterns no longer serve us. Awareness of mind and its patterns as they are influenced and are influencing the body is primary in being holistic. I share methods of developing a relationship with mind and body such as creative practices, yoga, hypnosis, and meditation.

    Repair can occur: wounds heal and vitality can be restored. Working with the mind through meditation helps us stay present in our bodies. To witness the sensations and fluxs of mind and body. I share Maitri-Metta, Shamatha and Vipassana meditation instruction and guidance. More information can be found under Methods.

  • Movement is vital for a holistic approach to health and wellness. The body requires movement, a gesture, to fully experience a renewed healthy view.

    I teach body movement and yoga to explore sensations, anatomy, healing, and resilience. The body messages us when in crisis as in pain and anxiety, but it is not always easy to pick up on.

    Trauma affects the entire body, and memories are held in the body. A trauma-informed approach involves recognizing this.

    With yoga, rhythm, and breath, we develop self-regulation and a friendly relationship with ourselves, through kindness, calmness, and control, or subtle-interoception. More information is available under Methods.

  • Maitri is a sanskrit word defined in English as ‘kindness’ and ‘compassion.’ We begin with compassion for ourselves and others in the present moment.

    It's important to approach struggles with compassion, even if it seems difficult. This skill we develop in holistic wellness guidance.

    This is where we begin from where you currently are, and treating all of the current circumstances with kindness.

    All actions have potency and are more effective when Maitri is a foundational view.

Live Virtual Sessions

  • The live virtual classes I offer are private and provide personal support and specialized methods to care for your physical, emotional, and mental needs. They are usually 90 mins. I prefer to meet weekly as a minimum to create a lasting shift towards your goals.

    Group Classes of 3-5 friends is available by request.

  • Classes or sessions are 60-90 mins.

    1 session per week = 35$ per class paid monthly

    2 sessions per week = 30$ per class paid monthly.

    1 session 90-120mins =60$

Maitri Meditation and Yoga Studio

In Studio Sessions

  • The Maitri Yoga studio is in a private garden in a rural setting. Offering a peaceful haven for women seeking customized yoga and meditation practice. There are maximum 5-6 participants in a class. Classes are 90 min.

    The Studio is also available private sessions.

  • Meditation Group practice is by donation.

    Group yoga classes are 20$ per class.

Retreats and Webinars

  • I offer live virtual webinars in prenatal birth your way through birth techniques.

    In studio retreats with an intention to support woman’s holistic health.

    These are offered at the Mairti Yoga Studio situated in a private garden in a rural setting.

  • Sliding Scale and by donation with suggested minimums.
